A Moment for Your Story

Your Story Starts Here.

Every reflection ends with a simple invitation to remember, write, or speak a story of your own.

You don’t need the perfect words or a finished manuscript. Just a memory, a few quiet minutes, and a willingness to begin.

Think about someone who changed the direction of your life. Write about what happened, what they meant to you, and why you still remember that moment.

About the Host

Stories help us understand where we’ve been and who we’re becoming.

I’m Kary Youman, host of The Resilient Author.

I’ve always been drawn to the experiences that shape people’s lives and the meaning they discover along the way.

What began as conversations with published authors has grown into something broader: a place to explore our own stories, reflect on what we’ve lived, and find the courage to share those experiences with others.

I believe our stories matter, even when we don’t think they’re extraordinary. Sometimes all we need is a place to begin.

When Your Story Feels Like Something More

Could your story become a book?

Some stories begin as a memory or a simple reflection. Others grow into something we’re ready to share more widely.

If you’ve been wondering whether your experiences could become a book, the Book Clarity Assessment can help you explore that possibility.
